Mirror - это голландская симфо-проговая команда. После выхода своего первого и единственного альбома сменила своё название на Lethe и выпустила ещё один альбом.
Несмотря на кратковременность своего сущестования, группа успела много сделать для европейской сцены, поддержав направление арт/прога, созданное Фокусом и Эксепшн.
Музыка приятная, красивая, можно сказать "изысканная".

Mirror is a Dutch Symphonic progressive Rock band formed in 1972. At the time of its formation, the band was a four piece consisting of high school friends Kees Walravens on guitar, Johan Saanen on bass guitar and vocals, Paula Mennen on piano, organ, synthesizer and vocals, and Peter Fransen on drums. In 1973 the band expanded its line-up with the addition of Philip de Goey on saxophone, woodwinds, and oboe. Their sole album was recorded over six days at the Stable Studio in Arnhem, The Netherlands. The album was titled Daybreak and was released in 1976, pressed in only 500 copies. The music is mainly instrumental and is influenced by Focus, Yes, and Pink Floyd. After the release of the album Mirror toured their native Нolland extensively. But internal disagreements soon led to the departure of Johan Saanen and the band finally split up in late 1976.

After the break up of Mirror, Philip de Goey, Kees Walravens and Johan Saanen formed a new progressive Rock band, Lethe in 1978.

After the break up of the band Mirror after only one album (1976's Daybreak) and intensive touring of Нolland, three of the core members of that band - Philip de Goey, Kees Walravens and Johan Saanen - formed Lethe in 1978. In addition to de Goey on piano, oboe and flute, Walravens on guitar, and Saanen on bass guitar, Lethe also featured Нans Lambers on drums, percussion, xylophone, vibraphone and strings, and Thuur Feyen on organ, piano and strings. Like Mirror, Lethe too was to be short lived. The band recorded only one self-titled album that was released in 1981. The album consists of four lengthy instrumental tracks whose sound has been compared to that of Camel.

Saanen, Walravens, and Fransen has since played together in a cover band called Looking For Clues. De Goey is active in a large number of musical projects.
