Ребята, это - просто праздник души!
Молодая норвежская группа играет ЭЛП-шный прогрессив-рок начала 70-х!
Ну, то есть - натуральные Эмерсон, Лейк и Палмер!
Вокал немного подкачал - до лейковского ему далеко, но остальное (включая всякие винтажные синтезаторы и прочие Хэммонды), на должном уровне!
В дебюте - 3 вещи на 44 минуты, во втором - 4 на 47. Слабых композиций нет. Есть одна "ну, чуть послабее", но при общем высочайшем уровне, оценка нивелируется.
ВЕСЬМА ВЕСЬМА ВЕСЬМА РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!

Ring Van Mobius biography
Formed in Karmoy, Norway, around 2014

RING VAN MOBIUS are a retro-prog band from Karmoy, Norway. They describe themselves as "Progressive rock straight from 1971, but made today". They played live shows in 2017 and in 2018 they released their debut "Past the Evening Sun" through Apollon Records. The core of the band consists of Thor Erik НELGESEN (keys), Нavard RASMUSSEN (bass) and Dag Olav НUSAS (drums). Their sound is often compared to that of early ELP.

Their first album Past The Evening Sun was a pleasant surprise and a true tribute to classic prog scene. With their album The 3rd Majesty they continue to bring us the mighty sounds of true and pure prog. Fantastic organs, bass and drums deliver us a great prog sound straight from the 70's. Since I am a fan of classic sound I found that this album is done fantastically. First song The Seven Movements of the Third Majesty, 22 minutes long epic, opens the door to the organ driven heaven with great bass lines, a must listen for any prog fan. After that the album continues in a same manner, Distant Sphere brings a little classical sound at the beginning and flows into a really moody song. The M'bius Ring is the last track on the album and my favorite one, starts with a simple but powerful bass line and then unleashes prog force upon the listener, trully masterfully done. This album is a must have for all who love true sound of classic prog.
