I'm using small perl script for posting RSS feeds to Fidonet:

It requires XML::RSS and LWP::UserAgent perl modules installed to work.
Result will be a bunch of PKTs in your inbound for tosser to toss. Currently it uses txt2pkt binary from husky project to generate PKTs but you can trivially rewrite it to use something else, e.g. FTN::Pkt perl module instead and eliminate that dependency.

Modify settings in the head of the script and run it like this:
rss2mail.pl <urltorss> <areaname>

For example:
rss2mail.pl https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php ganjanet.rss.phoronix

Author of the original script is 2:5020/545, this is my modified version of it.
